From rosé to blanc de blancs, extra-brut to demi-sec, or even the myriad of single cuvées out there, we can say that what defines the wines of the region is their fascinating diversity. But like any other fine wines, the notion of terroir is key to understanding the nuances in Champagne. In this THIRST class, we will dive into three important sub-regions of Champagne (Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims), exploring their micro-climates, geology and other specific traits.
