The concept of terroir describes how grape varieties will have different expressions depending on where they are grown, creating a sense of place in the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, produces gorgeous wines around the world but in the famous Napa Valley of California, it found an ideal location to thrive and legendary wines have been made there for decades. This class will explore the Napa of both yesteryear and today.
In addition to presenting exclusive footage from renowned winery Houndstooth shot by our team member Raj Vaidya this April, we are honored to host special guest Kelli White, author of numerous publications including her award-winning book “Napa Valley, Then and Now”.
