Inspired by the greatest wines of Burgundy, pioneer Josh Jensen founded his Californian winery Calera Wine Company in 1975. A visionary, Josh managed to convince the world that Pinot Noir could produce wonders in the limestone-rich soils of the Golden State’s Central Coast.
Named after the Spanish 'lime kiln', Calera is synonymous with refinement and authentic terroir focused wines that acclaimed critic Robert Parker dubbed “California’s Romanée-Conti.”
We are honored to pay tribute to the late Josh Jensen with this extraordinary tasting of a deep vertical of twelve vintages of the Reed Vineyard, sourced from the winery and back to 1981.
