Literally translated to “the roasted slope”, the Côte Rôtie appellation bathes in sunlight and gives its afficionados some of the most intriguing Syrah. Once almost abandoned because of its harsh working conditions, the incredibly steep vineyards of Côte Rôtie offer a scenic sight as dramatic and poignant as the wines themselves. We will explore the many facets of Côte-Rôtie at this superb dinner featuring wines from the best producers such as the historic Clusel-Roch, Patrick Jasmin and the unforgettable cuvées from Guigal, affectionately known as the Lala’s, back to the 1980’s.
