THIRST for Climats of Nuits-Saint-Georges
Slake your THIRST for Nuits-Saint-Georges!
The southern-most village of Cˆote de Nuits with village status, Nuits-Saint-Georges has a huge diversity of climats ranging from Fred Mugnier's Clos de la Maréchale in southern Premeaux to Aux Boudots, adjacent to Vosne-Romanée's famous Malconsorts vineyard.
Conventional wisdom has the southern vineyards producing a more rustic and earthy expression of Nuits, with the Vosne side exhibiting the more refined textures and aromas of the neighboring village. Is that a truism? We'll answer that question and much more as we take a deep dive into the terroir of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
We encourage participants to open one of the featured wines below or a Nuits-Saint-Georges of their choice to share their impressions with the audience.

THIRST for Pinot Meunier in Champagne
Slake your THIRST for Pinot Meunier!
Despite being an integral part of Champagne's total production (more than 40% of the vines planted), Pinot Meunier was traditionally overlooked in the region in favor of the more popular and famous Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
That is changing, however - today many independent growers are experimenting with 100% Meunier cuvées and there is a newfound appreciation for the grape throughout Champagne.
Daniel Johnnes, Edouard Bourgeois, and Raj Vaidya will lead the discussion.
We encourage participants to open one of the featured wines below or a Meunier-based Champagne of their choice to share their impressions with the audience.
