Pressoir.wine Session “Great White Burgundies”

  • 285 West Broadway New York, NY, 10013 United States (map)

Chardonnay is among the most planted grape varieties in the world. If it is relatively easy to grow, making great wines with this offspring variety of Pinot And Gouais Blanc is a different story. The terroir of Burgundy, coupled with its ancient winemaking history is home to some of the best sites for Chardonnay. Join us for this educational tasting promenade, starting from the cool hills of Chablis to the southern most tip of the region in the Maconnais where the incredible “Roche de Solutré” welcomes many visitors each year. We will also stop by the legends of the Cote d’Or in Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne and even taste the Grand Cru Corton Charlemagne.
